listening: to whatever Darrell has on his iPod – it’s on in the kitchen every morning

eating: still enjoying kale salad and daily ice cream (we are still getting the ice cream truck on occasion)!

drinking: mostly water and wine

wearing: crop pants and tanks – summer temps are lingering!

feeling: pretty good – the kids here are great & Molly is liking school

weather: typical September – good temps, a fair amount of rain

watching: premieres: The Voice, X Factor, Glee, Masterchef Jr.

reading: not much – enjoying crossword puzzles again before bed

wanting: less drama over homework – it’s a fight every night

needing: a way to deal with 6-year-old attitude and sauciness

thinking: about fall classes, the retreat, and a trip to Ottawa for me and Gabe!

enjoying: designing new classes and playing with fun products

wondering: how the next Yearlong Class will look – some ideas are spinning

wishing: this amazing fall weather would stay all year – I’d give up summer if I could have no snow!

feeling: blessed to have two amazing beaches close by where I can spend my summer

weather: warm but sometimes odd – record breaking heat one day then a 20 degree drop the next

watching: So You Think You Can Dance, Master Chef, and The Facts of Life (season 4)

wanting: a longer vacation – I’m not ready to leave the beach!

needing: to do more of nothing at all

wondering: when my new shoes will arrive. I ordered metallic ones online and I’m itching to get them!

wearing: crop pants & sandals as often as possible

feeling: overwhelmed this week – lots happening and it’s all in different directions!

weather: overcast and cool lately – come back spring!

watching: So You Think You Can Dance & still working my way through The Facts of Life. Also saw Epic the other day – loved it!

reading: nothing, it’s sad…

wanting: warm weather

needing: my mojo to come back – I’m not feeling very inspired right now.

thinking: about Index Card a Day (ICAD) – it starts tomorrow and I can’t wait!

enjoying: watching Molly in her kindergarten concert and year-end celebration this morning – it was so much fun!

wishing: I wasn’t quite so busy this week – it’s the last few days my brother and his girlfriend will be here from BC and I’m going to miss the fun! That being said, I can’t wait to finish my quilt and teach the library drawer class next week!

watching: The Facts of Life on Netflix – if you follow me on Instagram you already know how excited I was to discover this!

reading: nothing good – any recommendations?

wanting: not much – more time to be crafty maybe?

feeling: tired from the Retreat weekend and sad it’s all over again – but I got lots done to show you!

needing: to get on the ball about filling my daycare spot but enjoying this inbetween time

thinking: about classes I want to teach and am excited to teach but wondering where to fit them into The Paperie schedule. Maybe I should do some on my own – any interest from my local peeps? And any suggestions about what you’d like?

enjoying: Spring and being able to walk Molly back and forth to school again

wondering: when I can spill the beans about news that has me bursting with excitement and a little bit of envy – but it’s not mine to share 🙂

wishing: I could find some awesome new shoes. Shallow? Yes, but I really want a rocking new pair!

listening: to Molly sing. All day, everyday – sometimes she sings French songs she’s learned at school but most often they’re made up about whatever she’s playing with at the time.

feeling: sick of winter and cold weather.

weather: cold, rainy, with more and more sunny breaks all the time. Now if only it would warm up…

eating: lots of mini eggs. And I don’t even like milk chocolate. Easter chocolate is the worst…

drinking: Coco Chai tea, steeped in hot milk – it’s yummy! And more water than usual, trying to keep a glass around all the time.

needing: to share this picture of Ella. The kids were thrilled to see that these little leprechaun hats fit her though she was not a fan. Our cats put up with an awful lot around here!

thinking: about LO’s I want to do and techniques I want to try.

watching: The Voice and American Idol – terrible TV but I love it!

reading: not a whole lot. Any suggestions?

enjoying: funny Mister Gabe – he makes the craziest faces and tells silly jokes that make no sense at all!

wearing: summer shoes. I’m determined to get rid of the boots and socks.

wanting: to go see Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D, at the theatre, on the big screen.

wondering: how my quilt is going to turn out. I already have plans for at least two more so I’m crossing fingers it goes really well!

wishing: that it was summer already!

drinking: tea, my fave right now is Britannia’s Hot Cinnamon Rooibos.

wearing: too big jeans and tall boots. And ugly slippers.

feeling: cold and creative and productive – getting lots of arty and crafty things done lately!

weather: cold, cold, and more cold. What I think about winter right now is not polite for this blog…

watching: Modern Family, New Girl, Big Bang Theory – when I get a chance!

reading: Loved The Sweetness of Forgetting (read it in one day) and am now on Waiting for Love, Book 8 in a series by Marie Force. Easy and trashy but I love a long running series!

wanting: warm donuts (always!) and warm weather. Plus a clean Scrap Cave – where are the elves?

needing: not much, except a clean space to create!

thinking: about an hour with Suzette this afternoon and upcoming classes – I have a lot of work to do – gulp!

enjoying: this class by Wilna Furstenberg at 2peasinabucket and the Pioneer Woman PSE actions – fun times!

wondering: if winter will ever end this year (can you tell the cold is getting to me?)

going to school

wishing: I was on a warm beach somewhere, having fancy drinks under an umbrella. A deserted beach would be even better. 🙂

To supplement my usual Yearlong Album, I’m also taking Krista’s Keeping Track of Life class – she’s doing this list each month for that so I’m playing along with her today!

Story Time

listening: Still playing Row upon Row of the People They Know by The Once – probably too much if M singing the line, “At the front of the bar but at the back of the line” over and over is any indication!

eating: ice cream bars, carrots, and as a treat today, Sugar Mama’s cinnamon rolls!

drinking: water and very cold Pinot Grigio

wearing: still into my jeans and tall boots. And not the most fashionable but super warm hoodies when I’m home.

feeling: excited about my February classes and KP coming to The Paperie in March!

weather: rainy and windy, but at least it has warmed up a little

watching: not much! Too busy in January but am planning to catch up on my guilty pleasure of American Idol this evening. 🙂

reading: blogs and twitter – again, too busy but have to fit in The Sweetness of Forgetting very soon for a book club

Still loving being upside down

waiting: for product to come in so I can play! Designs for two classes are ground to a halt until I get some supplies (darn winter weather)!

wanting: warm donuts

needing: a girl’s night of scrapping, laughing, and food

thinking: about old, old friends and how much I miss them

enjoying: hot baths and cold wine

wondering: if we’ll actually get the storm that’s forecast for Saturday. I really am certain we’ve had enough snow this winter, Mother Nature!

wishing: I could hop on a plane and have a Newfoundland/Manitoba reunion (Karen, Dawn, Val, Julia, Jeff? I’ll make it happen if we decide to do it!)
